Hand Crafted Lotus Garden Memorial Urn

Unique and stunning the Lotus Garden Memorial Urn is hand made in Somerset from a talented ceramicist who specialises in garden sculptures.

These sculptures are frost-proof. They are made from a stoneware which gives a warm brown colour.

The piece is created from a coiling process which builds the piece up over a period of time it is then scalped and carved into the lotus form. Porcelain slip is then brushed over some areas, and coloured slips or glaze applied. The urn is fired twice to give it its final finish and make it weatherproof all year round.

Due to the nature of the process each piece is unique. The lotus is a wonderful symbol of rebirth and these pieces are discreet, no one needs to know what is contained within and then if you choose to move home you can take it with you.  Display as a centre piece or in the borders among the the long grasses – up to you,  due to the colouring and the form it will blend into its surrounding.

We usually keep one in stock. However if you want something unique, bespoke, or if we don’t have one please allow around 8 -10 weeks for completion and delivery.

The Lotus Garden Memorial Urn has the capacity to fit one polyurn (this is supplied with your garden urn completely free of charge).

Due to the shape and size there is no need to secure the memorial garden urn to the ground, it is hollowed to hold the urn.
